D-Fibroheal Ag Meshed: Silk protein and silver based anti-microbial meshed surgical wound dressing sheet for low to mild exuding, infected wounds such as partial and full thickness, first and second-degree bums, donor and recipient graft sites, surgical sites, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, skin abrasions. The dressing is suitably meshed to facilitate easy drainage of exudates to maintain optimal moist environment at the wound site and excess exudates are absorbed into the secondary dressing.

Additionally, the dressing has silver nanoparticles embedded in combination with silk protein to control microbial growth and promote faster wound healing by fibroblast proliferation and collagen deposition. It has broad spectrum anti-microbial activity for prolonged time due to the sustained release mechanism of silver ions which effectively controls infection at the wound site, decreases bioburden levels and creates a wound environment conducive to faster healing.
