Pusa 3043 (also known as BG 3043) is a high-yielding desi chickpea (gram / chana) variety developed by the Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi, and released in 2018.

·Crop Duration: About 127 to 145 days (rabi season).

·Sowing Time: Timely rabi sowing (typically early November).

·Plant Architecture: Profusely branching and sturdy plant structure.

·Seed Characteristics: Medium-large desi seeds.

·Stress & Disease Resistance:
