Asataf Is a 75% SP Formulation Of Acephate, a Versatile Organophosphate Insecticide With Both Contact And Systemic Action. It Is Easy To Use, Being Soluble In Water.
Asataf is a 75% w/w emulsifiable concentrate formulation of acephate. Acephate is a systemic insecticide which acts primarily by contact on the nervous system of insects. Acephate is effective against sucking and chewing insects on grasses, cereals and rice, cotton and other crops.
The product formulation Asataf is an emulsifiable concentrate in water with 75% active ingredient, with lemon oil as a pleasant odourant and stabiliser for storage purposes.
Asataf Is a versatile insecticide with both contact and systemic action. It is easy to use because it is water soluble and can be applied through irrigation systems or by spraying on foliage of plants.
Asataf has been developed as an alternative to other synthetic acaricides for the control of spider mites and thrips affecting ornamental plants in greenhouses.
Asataf is active against aphids, thrips, whitefly and spider mites on a wide range of greenhouse grown crops including cut flowers, bedding plants and pot plants.
