Its vibrant color changes slightly with soil pH (redder in acidic soil, purple in neutral/alkaline) and it has a slightly earthy taste, suitable for fresh eating, coleslaw, or stews.

  • Color: Deep red to purple, vibrant, tightly wrapped leaves.
  • Nutrition: Rich in anthocyanins (antioxidants) and Vitamin C.
  • Flavor:
  •  Similar to green cabbage but with a subtle earthy taste.
