It grows on trees and stones. Our Natural Dagar Phool, sourced from Maharashtra, gives a distinct flavour and colour to the foods. It is used in Maharastrian recipes as ‘goda masala’ and also in some Chettinad preparations. It can be used in biryanis, curries, stews and masalas.
