This beautiful mud-work wall clock from one of our clusters in Kutch, has been done with cold-ceramic process where the clay is pasted onto the wooden ply board, left to dry, painted and then the panel decorated with mirrors. The wall clock represents a beautiful amalgamation of craft and design, in the form of a contemporary craft product!

"लिप्पन काम” or Lippan is mural folk art form from Kutch, Gujrat, India. Originally used to decorate the walls of indigenous houses in Kutch, the craft has been adapted to a contemporary avatar to bring you this beautiful collection, inspired from the craft and made in contemporary materials for durability, by artisans from the desert communities!
