Blackmagic Cloud Pod

The Blackmagic Cloud Pod is a compact and completely fanless network-attached storage (NAS) bridge designed by Blackmagic Design to instantly convert off-the-shelf USB-C storage drives into high-speed network shared storage. Unlike traditional NAS devices that contain internal hard drives, the Cloud Pod is exceptionally small, thin, and lightweight because it features zero internal storage, operating strictly on a "bring your own drive" model. The device is equipped with two USB 3.0 Type-C ports capable of hosting two independent external drives—such as portable SSDs or USB-C media disks directly recorded on a cinema camera—and sharing them concurrently across a local area network to up to 50 users. It handles demanding film, television, and multi-user post-production workflows by incorporating a blazing-fast, low-latency 10G BASE-T Ethernet port, which eliminates network bottlenecks and allows collaborative editing teams to mount drives and seamlessly modify large high-resolution video files simultaneously inside DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro.
