·         Seed Rate: 35–40 kg/ha (≈9–10 kg/bigha; 450–500 g/kathha).

·         Sowing Time: October–November (Rabi season).

·         Spacing: 30 cm × 10 cm (row × plant).

·         Irrigation: 2–3 light irrigations as per soil moisture.
