The mustard seed ranks fourth among the major oilseeds of the world. India
is an important rape seed mustard growing country in the world, occupying
largest area and has second position in production after China. It is rich in
potassium, phosphorous, calcium, Magnesium etc. and good for heart
health, bones, respiratory disorders, and metabolism. Mustard contains a lot
of phytochemicals called glucosinolates and isothiocyanates which helps in
treatment of cancer.
