Brinjal Purple : Pusa Uttam is a high- yielding, early maturing brinjal (eggplant) variety developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute(IARI). 

It features non-spiny plants that produce medium-sized, slightly oval, glossy dark purple fruits. Ideal for both home gardens and commercial farming, it is widely favored for its floury texture and taste.

Pusa Safed Baingan-1 is an early-maturing (50-55 days), high-yielding white brinjal variety developed by ICAR-IARI, suitable for Kharif cultivation in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and UP.

It features small, oval, non-spiny green calyx fruits in clusters, yielding up to 35 t/ha, and is rich in antioxidants.

Pusa Hara Baingan-1 is a high-yielding green brinjal variety developed by IARI, specifically suited for North Indian kharif (summer/rainy) seasons. It produces large, oval-shaped green fruits with light purple patches and non-spiny calyxes, offering an average yield of 40-45 t/ha. Fruits are ready for harvest 55-60 days after transplanting.
