EPN – Entomopathogenic Nematodes (Bio-Insecticide)

Description:
EPN (Entomopathogenic Nematodes) are beneficial microscopic worms used as a biological insecticide. They actively seek out and kill soil-dwelling insect pests such as grubs, weevils, cutworms, and termites. These nematodes enter the host insect, release symbiotic bacteria (Xenorhabdus or Photorhabdus), and kill the insect within 24–48 hours. Safe, residue-free, and compatible with organic farming, EPNs are a natural solution for pest control.

Application & Dosage:

• Soil Drenching:

  • Mix 50–100 million nematodes in 200–500 liters of clean water per acre.

  • Apply during evening or early morning hours.

• Drip Irrigation:

  • Use filter-free drip systems. Apply directly through the lines during irrigation.

• Spraying (for foliar pests, in protected environments):

  • Use fine-nozzle sprayers. Avoid UV light and high temperatures.

Usage Tips:
