Arka Nirantara is a cultivar of tuberose with single type flowers and gives high spike yield. It exhibits early flowering and prolonged blooming period from 6-8 months. It possesses higher concrete content of 0.132 %. It is tolerant to nematode( Meloidogyne incognita). It shows a delayed flowering response compared to other genotypes, but exhibits good performance in terms of yield of spikes, bulbs, and bulblets.. 

Characteristics:

  • Flower Type: Single-petalled (one whorl of petals) and white color
  • Tall plant height
  • The  yield of loose flowers varies from 20-25 t/ha/year.
